Matrix Concepts Signs MoU With Golog For RM8b GDV Project In MVV TechValley

SEREMBAN, Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Golog Holdings Sdn Bhd to jointly develop the China–Malaysia Air Silk Road Dual Hub Industrial Park in MVV TechValley, Negeri Sembilan.

The 247ha (618-acre) project, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM8 billion, will feature an inland port, advanced cold chain storage, and modern logistics facilities to boost Malaysia’s industrial and logistics ecosystem.

The development will be carried out in three phases — beginning with a 42.4ha (106-acre) logistics hub, followed by an international logistics centre and a full-scale industrial park.

Also present were (from left) Matrix Concepts founder and group executive deputy chairman Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock, chairman Datuk Mohamad Haslah Mohamad Amin and Golog Holdings group executive director Daniel Then.

Matrix Concepts group executive director Kelvin Lee said Golog’s expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and intelligent cold chain logistics complements the group’s goal of building a future-ready industrial ecosystem in MVV TechValley.

“We are proud to welcome Golog as one of the pioneering logistics and technology players in MVV TechValley. Their participation will strengthen logistics capabilities and elevate the area into a hub for innovation, high-value industries, and global connectivity,” said Lee.

He added that Golog’s initiatives — including a smart halal cold chain hub and EV Valley — align with Matrix Concepts’ vision for sustainable, technology-driven industrial development.

The partnership follows Golog’s recent collaboration with China Henan Aviation Group Co Ltd and Sichuan Huashi Group Corp Ltd to develop the China-Malaysia Air Silk Road Dual Hub Industrial Park. The initiative aims to enhance air cargo connectivity between China and Malaysia.

Golog Holdings executive chairman and group CEO Ivan Chin described the partnership as “a collaboration built on trust, technology, and friendship,” positioning Malaysia as a key player in Asia’s Air Silk Road network.

The industrial park will feature six key centres — a durian processing and logistics hub, an AI innovation centre, a Henan cultural centre, an exhibition centre, a trade centre, and an integrated digital system connecting all facilities.

Negeri Sembilan executive councillor for industrial and non-Muslim affairs Teo Kok Seong, who witnessed the MoU signing, said the collaboration highlights how innovation and strategic partnerships can strengthen Malaysia’s logistics and industrial landscape.

MVV TechValley, part of the 400ha MVV City 2.0 development, is envisioned as an integrated industrial hub attracting global and domestic investments in advanced manufacturing, logistics, aerospace, precision engineering, and green technology.
