KUALA LUMPUR: YTL Corporation Bhd’s (YTL Corp) share prices rose in the morning session following the announcement of its net profit almost doubling to RM2.14 billion in the financial year ended 30 June 2024 (FY2024) from RM1.09 billion in FY2023, mainly boosted by stronger utility business.
As of the morning on 22 August, YTL Corp’s share prices added 13 sen to RM3.19 with 8.24 million shares traded.
The integrated infrastructure developer also said that its revenue increased to RM30.52 from RM29.61 billion previously.
“Going forward, the group expects the performance of its business segments to remain resilient as its major business segments are substantially engaged in essential services and it will continue to closely monitor the related risks and impact on all business segments,” it said.
