PETALING JAYA, Green Packet Bhd has announced the appointment of Shahul Hameed Shaik Dawood as its new Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Shahul Hameed Shaik Dawood is also deputy president of the Asean Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Shahul brings over three decades of experience across multiple sectors and is widely recognised for his leadership in driving transformation and building strong public-private collaborations.

He previously served as CEO of the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp), a position he held for five years before stepping down in April 2025. During his tenure, HRD Corp underwent significant transformation and recorded its highest-ever income in 2024, reaching RM434.2 million, with a pre-tax surplus of RM127 million and RM4 billion in assets under management.
Shahul is also the founder of Dawood Holdings Sdn Bhd and has held leadership roles at JobsDB Malaysia and Informatics Malaysia. He currently serves as the deputy president of the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
