HONG KONG: Across the APAC region, Hong Kong’s living sector market is attracting investors, particularly in the co-living and student housing subtypes, CBRE reported.
Hong Kong is a target market for these two subtypes, with its strategy focusing on purpose-built properties and conversion as well as collaboration with operators for co-living projects.
This trend is supported by the influx of non-locals and expatriates increasing the preference for renting over buying as well as rising rents.
CBRE has observed growth in the number of investors exploring niche products and opportunities in these markets.–HONG KONG BUSINESS
